I share this as an encouragement to fellow believers that we may stay strong in the faith. My prayer is that in whatever we do in our daily lives, we may do it in service to Christ and for ourselves. This is not to make a show of our faith, but to show that we do indeed have faith. Also, so that others may know that we do in fact live what we preach. Then, we can live with a good purpose because of our faith in Christ.  The verse says we do these things so ‘that God may count you worthy of His calling.” We must be faithful and diligent in serving Christ. After all, Christ died and rose again for our salvation, the very least we can do is live our lives for Him. It is an encouragement for me to so many living out their faith. And so I cheer them forward with the hope that others, including myself, may follow their example. Christ has called us to a great life, our faith prompts us of its purpose, and God alone has made us worthy of such a calling. And when all is said and done, I cannot think of a more praiseworthy calling than serving Christ.
