~ Philippians 2:3 ~

This is a peacock I just finished drawing.  It reminds me of the ones we used to have.  I remember watching them in all of their stately bearing while walking about our yard.  They were so beautiful and majestic… And while this picture doesn’t do them justice, it still is an interesting one.  Although the peacock is known for its “pride”, we must remember how much better humility is.  This bird may by noble in its bearing, but a humble heart outweighs even beauty.

((on a side note, I’m sorry for the bad quality of the photo, the light kept reflecting off the pencil lead and I couldn’t get a good shot.))
