Hey, friends.
I have been struggling with how to write this update. I’ll be honest: I really don’t want to write at this moment. I feel a weight in my arms every time I go to do anything. And yet, an update is needed.
I started this year with a pretty decent plan for releasing my upcoming poetry book. I’d been able to follow that plan pretty well the last several months, too. I had dates for events, videos, posts, etc. All of that got thrown out the window earlier this week. As of right now, I don’t know what will be happening with our family three weeks from now (as if we ever really know what is coming next). This time is full of confusion and uncertainty. And yet, I am still pushing forward with the release of this book and with a couple of other projects I am working on.
So what’s next? Well, I am still moving forward with what I can. Right now I am waiting to receive some proof copies (yay!). When I get those, I’m hoping to do a little unboxing video and share whatever I find with you! I love seeing books in print for the first time. From there, I will try to move forward with some live events, but I likely won’t be able to do those for sure (?) until late March. Hopefully, things will be more stable by then. In the meantime, I’ll keep writing and updating when I can and when I have something to say.
You can, however, learn more about my upcoming book Where the Moss Grows Old here. My release date is still set for the first week of April. I am pretty excited about this project, and I am eager to share it with you! Until next time, keep us in your prayers and keep an eye out for news about this book and my upcoming projects!
Blessings to you and yours,
~Madelyn Rose Craig
