As a follow up to last week’s update, I thought it would be good to send an update today on what I have been working on recently. I haven’t been writing as much as I would like, and I realize haven’t been posting as much as I probably should have been. This is really too bad as I actually have some thoughts on what I’ve been reading. Unfortunately, I haven’t been feeling well for a while, and I’ve been super busy with life and my book.

But, some of that busyness has resulted in some exciting progress! First, I finally announced the release date of my book (which is September 25, by the way. You can find out more in my recent update video). Second, I have been working on my book’s cover.

Ok, I realize you can’t really make it out in the above blurry picture. But, I’m planning on doing a cover reveal soon, and revealing it before the reveal just doesn’t seem right, now does it? Even so, I’m excited about its progress, and I wanted to share that with you. I’ve been working on my cover for a long time, but it still needed a few finishing touches. I still have a lot of work ahead of me, and not just for the cover, but it is good to share in these little milestones.

I have also been updating some little formatting details in my book, and I’m doing one (?) last read-through before converting all my files for publishing (among other details… the steps do end at some point, right?). It’s a process, but it’s one that’s nearing its end, and that is something to be excited about! Keep an eye out for that cover reveal. I have to say, I’m pretty excited about it, and I can’t wait to share it with you!

For now, I need to get back to work (and to a side project I may or may not have started).
