Hello, all!

It has been a little while since I have sent an update, but I now have good news: I sent my manuscript to my editor! This step has been filled with much anticipation, anxiety, and hope. The process of editing is a little nerve-wracking. I mean, you are sending something you have made, something you have put your time and heart into, to someone who may very well tear it apart. I have spent years on this book. I have put countless hours into researching, organizing, writing, formatting, editing, and so much more that to send it off makes my heart tense up.

But at the same time, this is a huge next step! While there are still many points to meet and steps to take that will eventually lead to a final manuscript, sending my book off means that I am a little bit closer to my end goal: publishing. How can I not be excited about that?

I am so excited to share this journey with you, and I can hardly wait to share the actual book with you! More updates are on the way, so keep an eye out for them! There is so much more in store on this journey.
