In an effort to start meaningful traditions with my family, I decided to embroider ornaments for Advent and Christmas. These ornaments contain symbols and phrases that connect to the liturgical calendar, such as the names of the Sundays of Advent, or of saints and their motifs. But I didn’t want to keep these little pieces of beauty and tradition to myself. So, I made a small book of patterns so more people could make them! In addition to the ornament instructions, I have included some readings and hymns for each liturgical day that would make a nice short devotion. I hope this book will be a blessing to everyone who uses it.
