Three years ago, I was holding my son in my mother’s kitchen making pretzels. My baby was in one of my favorite onesies for him: it had little stripes and a little sauropod dinosaur sticking its head out of his shirt pocket. It was one of the few items I had bought for him to wear, and I loved it. My mom did, too. “Look! There’s a dragon in your pocket,” she said, referencing There’s a Wocket in My Pocket. That afternoon, I wrote the original text for my book. Since that time, I’ve been editing, illustrating, and learning about children’s books. And now, it’s almost here! I am so very excited to be sharing My Little Pocket Dragon with you and your children. I hope it is a delight for you and them to join my little buddy as he discovers his little friend, brings him home, and takes him on an adventure. And watch closely!
